1st race – (8) Kalik was a good second in his turf debut back in October and should post a maiden win here. (10) America’s Guest had trouble last time and should benefit from a switch to Saez. (1) Hardy Choice may wake up with the help of a rail trip. (4) Windsor Park may appreciate the switch to turf. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-8-10.

3rd race – (4) Ragged Union tired traveling two turns last time and should turn in a big effort turning back to a sprint. (1) Back to Normal was second on Tapeta and should be equally tough on turf. (5) Inevtabl Conection has speed and could be tough to catch. (6) Famous Gent will be a threat in the final furlong. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-5-6.

5th race – (1) Don’t Get Khozy drops into a claimer after running in a stakes and has a class edge over these. (3) Rose E Holiday seeks a third straight win and should be the main rival. (4) Music City Star fits in nicely in this spot. Betting strategy: 1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-4. Doubles: 1-3-4 with 2-3-6-10.

6th race – (3) Oglethorpe was third in his turf debut at Saratoga and is working sharply for his comeback. (2) Ortus is a firster from Clement who seems ready for a big effort. (6) Happy Runner was second or third in his last five starts and belongs in the exotics. (10) Levity flopped last time but can rebound here. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-6-10.

8th race – (3) Chasing Rainbows (B) was a game second in his turf debut and should prevail in this field. (8) Masterofthesenate won a claimer last time and will be a contender on his best try. (6) Ski Patrol was second in a starter and can make his presence felt. (5) My Sea Cottage has a nice burst of early speed and may tough to catch in the stretch.
