2nd race – (5) Wudhooh debuts from Pletcher and seems ready for a big effort. (4) Haley’s Honor is worth a look in her first start for D’Angelo. (1) Moon Spun missed by a neck on Tapeta and should be tough on turf too. (8) Lionza rallied belatedly and might take a step forward here. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-4-5-8.

4th race – (2) Backchat should welcome a return to turf. (3) Classic Mo Town seeks a third straight win and looks like the main rival. (1) Be Like Clint could be a factor from the rail. (4) Gambling Holiday merits attention off the Breen claim. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-3-4.

6th race – (3) Floribunda drops to what should be a winning level for her. (7) Lucevan La Stelle may wake up in a claimer. (6) Channel Loop fits in nicely here. (5) Cool Tricks should be a stretch threat. Betting strategy: 3 to win, place.  Exacta box: 3-5-6-7. Doubles: 3-5-6-7 with 2-3-5.

7th race – (5) Adios Now could be dangerous on his best effort. (2) Breezer won his debut and should be the one to fear. (3) El Chato can be dangerous in this field. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place.  Exacta box: 2-3-5.

9th race – (2) Palmetto Fury makes her first start for Joseph and deserves top billing. (5) Lace Curtain has speed and may hang around until the end. (4) Heirozan may come to life in a claimer. (6) Parade  Down Broad adds blinkers and Lasix and is worth a look. Betting strategy: 2 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4-5-6.
