1st race – (4) Reassess (C) dropped from 3-1 to 2-1 and missed by a head. Should make amends here. (7) Too Hot to Stop is an interesting first-time starter. 5th race – (9) My Life Story was second in his last two starts and is overdue for a win. (4) Dontbesoogrouchy looks like the main threat. (8) Hot N Lucky has a nice turn of speed and could be tough to catch. (3) Ike’s Gamble fits nicely here. Betting strategy: 9 to win, place. Exacta box: 3-4-8-9.

7th race – (3) Mackville had a rough, wide trip and should work out a winning trip here. (5) Refuel comes off a sharp debut win and is the one to fear. 8th race – (1) Castellana has speed and the rail and may not look back. (3) Lady Monique takes a big class drop and should not be ignored. (5) Kap Hoorn might perk up in this field. (7) Royal Upstart adds blinkers and is worth a look. Betting strategy:  1 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-3-5-7.
