Wathnan Racing’s Hit Show, winner of the Lukas Classic (G2) at Churchill Downs in his most recent start, heads a field of 10 entered Saturday for the 67th running of the $350,000 Hagyard Fayette (G2) for 3-year-olds and up.
Scheduled for 1⅛ miles on the main track, the Hagyard Fayette will go as the eighth race on the 10-race program on closing day of the Fall Meet next Saturday. Post time for the Hagyard Fayette is 4:44 p.m. ET.
Trained by Brad Cox, Hit Show is a three-time graded stakes winner with more than $1 million in earnings. Prior to his victory in the Lukas Classic, Hit Show won the West Virginia Governor’s Stakes (G3) at Mountaineer on Aug. 4. Florent Geroux has the mount from post 8.
