Ashbrook Farm, Matthew O’Connor, Upland Flats Racing and Amy Dunne’s Just a Care (IRE) took the lead shortly after the start and held off all challengers to win the featured $120,000 Terminus Farm Purse for fillies and mares Friday afternoon by a neck. (Click here for a video of the race.)
Ridden by Luis Saez and trained by Rusty Arnold, Just a Care completed the 5½ furlongs on a turf course labeled as good in 1:03.84. It was the third consecutive victory of the afternoon for Saez.
Just a Care is a 4-year-old daughter of Australia out of the Fastnet Rock mare Greater Good. Today’s win marked her third victory in eight starts and was worth $46,500 to increase her earnings to $163,890.
Making her first start in nearly eight months, Just a Care returned $7.72, $4.92 and $3.46. Makeup, ridden by Erik Asmussen, returned $10.18 and $6.36 and finished a head in front of a fast-finishing Golden Hostess (SAF), who paid $4.22 to show under Tyler Gaffalione.

Racing continues Saturday with a 10-race program that begins at 1 p.m. ET and features two graded stakes for 3-year-olds sprinting 7 furlongs on the main track.
The first stakes is the $300,000 Perryville (G3) for males as the seventh race with a 4:12 p.m. post time. The race features Grade 1 winner Book’em Danno.
The second stakes is the $350,000 Lexus Raven Run (G2) for fillies going as the ninth race. Post time is 5:16 p.m.
Keeneland will offer a Pick 6 carryover of $26,809.
