Keeneland invites people who are interested in working at the race track during the 2023 Spring Meet from April 7-28 to apply either in person at the Hiring Center, which opens Thursday, March 2 and will be offered every Tuesday and Thursday in March, or online at Keeneland.com/jobs. Keeneland is seeking to fill positions in Concessions, Culinary, Dining, Guest Services, Parking, Retail, Security, Track Kitchen and other areas.

“Everything we do at Keeneland is the result of the hard work and talent of our employees,” Keeneland Chief of Staff Kari West said. “We are always seeking new faces who want to work in the fast-paced and innovative environment of our race meets. Not only will employees during the Spring Meet receive consistent hours, but they will gain invaluable experience. These jobs can be a good fit for people who are interested in a position that can lead to other opportunities and for those who are looking for short-term employment.”

The majority of positions Keeneland is offering during the Spring Meet are entry level and do not require any formal training other than the paid training that is provided by Keeneland. Employees for the entire Spring Meet typically work 40 paid hours each week.

A number of available jobs are with Keeneland Hospitality, which provides food and beverage service for the entire Keeneland campus, including the Clubhouse, Grandstand, concessions and Track Kitchen. People with all levels of culinary, wait staff and host experience are urged to apply. They will receive the opportunity to gain valuable culinary and dining experience while training directly under talented chefs.

Volunteer Group program available for community organizations

In addition to outstanding employment opportunities during the Spring Meet, Keeneland is proud to support the community via its Volunteer Group program. The program enables fraternities, sororities, high school booster clubs, senior groups, charitable organizations and other certified groups with a tax identification number to receive a contribution of $10 for every hour that one of their members works during the Spring Meet. Members of participating organizations might work in roles ranging from a server assistant in one of Keeneland’s dining rooms to serving food and drinks at a concession stand or working as a parking attendant.
