8th race – (1) Verbal rallied belatedly for fourth in a stakes but should get the job done here. (3) Creed was ill-prepared for the start last time but figures to get a better trip here. Doubles: 1-3-6-7 with 1-2-9-10. 9th race – (2) Lord Donegal drops from a stakes into a claimer and looks best in this field. (1) Caballo Feliz had a rough trip at Oaklawn when second and shapes up as the one to fear. (10) Mr. Bouma will be on the front end and may hang around until the end.
