1st race – (7) Magical Power (C) dropped from 9-5 to 7-5 for his debut with and weakened late to settle for second. May not get caught today. (3) Oglethorpe was second on a muddy track in his lone dirt try and may be a factor here. (6) Braggadocious is worth a look in his debut. (1) Trumptastic may enjoy the stretchout. 3rd race – (11) Portfolio Company was a game second last time and should be able to overcome a bad post. (6) Easy Time had a rough trip last time but can rebound here. (3) James Aloysius seeks a third straight win and cannot be ignored. (2) Vivar should make a smooth switch over to turf. Betting strategy: 11 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-3-6-11.

6th race – (12) Watch This Birdie faltered last time but can bounce back in this spot. (10) Zeitlos has not raced since a second in September but is showing promise in morning works. (7) Oldest Sister may benefit from her debut and move forward today. (9) Scylla could be a main factor in her debut. Betting strategy: 12 to win, place. Exacta box: 7-9-10-12.

8th race – (10) Twilight Gleaming was a Breeders’ Cup winner at 2 and should regain her winning stride here. (1) Train to Artemus has a nice turn of speed and will benefit from a rail trip. (3) Happy Soul lost by a head in a stakes in her lone turf race and merits plenty of attention. (5) Amy C will benefit if there’s a big speed duel. Betting strategy: 10 to win, place. 10th race – The Grade 1 Jenny Wiley - (2) In Italian is a proven Grade 1 winner who should lead throughout here. (3) Queen Goddess won the Pegasus Filly and Mare Turf and will be the main rival. (5) With The Moonlight is a top runner from Charlie Appleby’s overseas barn and cannot be ignored. (4) Speak of the Devil had a rough trip last time and could be a factor with better racing luck.
