2nd race – (5) Kiss You Later makes her U.S. debut for Clement and it should be a winning one. (7) Sinfiltre won nicely on Tapeta but can handle turf as well. (4) I’m So Sorry seems capable of a better effort here. (3) Elle Est Forte should be a threat in the late stages. Betting strategy: 5 to win, place. Exacta box: 5-7. 4th race – (4) Henrietta Topham hasn’t run since finishing second in a fall stakes at Keeneland and looks best here. (5) Bubble Rock has plenty of speed and should be tough to catch. (2) Gam’s Mission had a rough trip in a Tampa Bay stakes and can rebound here. Betting strategy: 4 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-4-5. Doubles: 2-4-5 with 1-2-6-8.

5th race – (8) Under Oath (B) flopped in his turf debut and should bounce back to top form on dirt. (6) Fitzpatrick is worth a look after tiring late on a sloppy track. (2) Top of the Charts seems set for a good showing in his 2023 debut. (1) Remuda will be a handful if he duplicates his last try. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 1-2-6-8.

7th race – (8) No Nay Hudson has the look of another turf sprinter from Ward’s barn. (5) Gaslight Dancer hasn’t run since racing in the Breeders’ Cup and seems poised for a strong comeback effort. (2) Chiringo switches to Irad and may wake up. (7) Bushido is undefeated and should not be ignored. Betting strategy: 8 to win, place. Exacta box: 2-5-7-8. Doubles: 2-5-7-8 with 3-4-6-7.

8th race – (7) Key of Life looked good in a gate-to-wire win and can make it two in a row here. (4) Interpolate exits a New York stakes win and should be the one to fear. (6) Opus Forty Two adds blinkers and may revert to her winning ways. (3) Stonewall Star will be part of the early pace and could hang on to the end.
