Gets more distance here and has been working sharply for this start for Cox, who has been piling up wins in Kentucky Derby preps. Looks best in a quality field. (6) Reincarnate was a stakes winner last time out for Baffert and will make his bid for Derby points with a new trainer. Looks like the one to fear. (1) Verifying posted a big win over the track in his 3-year-old debut and should benefit from a rail trip. Certainly has the credentials to land in the winner’s circle. (3) Red Route One made up a ton of ground in the Southwest Stakes and will be a stretch threat here. Betting strategy: 5 to win. Exacta and trifecta box: 1-3-5-6.
