– (5) Practical Move won his last two starts when he finished his 2-year-old campaign in the Los Alamitos Futurity (G2) and then started his road to the Kentucky Derby with a strong victory in the San Felipe (G2). He is currently one of the top three ranked sophomores. (3) Geaux Rocket Ride was second in the San Felipe in his second career start as the favorite. No doubt he will be a winner of important races this year but is he ready to reverse the results and beat Practical Move? (6) National Treasure is one of those horses that was transferred from the Bob Baffert barn to Tim Yakteen in order to be eligible for the Kentucky Derby. After his debut win last year, he ran in three graded stakes and finished in the top three in all of them. He was last seen running third in the Sham (G3) in January. (8) Mandarin Hero shipped to California from Japan where he won his first four starts and then missed by a neck going nine furlongs. Japanese horses have been doing well when they ship away from home. His races were at a track that offers smaller purses. Betting strategy:  Exacta box: 3, 5. Trifecta box: 3, 5, 6, 8.
