The Keeneland/Red Mile Tournament of Champions on Saturday, November 18 came down to the final race, when 27-1 shot Divine Gal won the Churchill Downs finale. Hagan Southworth jumped from 16 to 1 with the cap horse, taking home $3000 as the winner of the tournament. The Tournament of Champions is the culmination of qualifiers throughout the year. The 2024 season opens on Friday, January 5, with a $25 contest on Turfway Park and other night tracks.
