Stonestreet Stables’ Corona Bolt, who improved his record in one-turn races to a perfect four-for-four with Friday’s victory in the $400,000 Lafayette, is headed to Churchill Downs on Sunday, according to Blake Cox, assistant to his father, Brad.
“He’s doing good this morning,” Blake said. “We will talk with Stonestreet people (about the $500,000 Pat Day Mile-G2 to be run at Churchill May 6) or look at the ($400,000) Woody Stephens (G1 Presented by Mohegan Sun at Belmont Park going 7 furlongs on June 10).”
