2nd race [NY, OC 45k/N2X, 1 mi] – (3) Midtown Lights returns to allowance racing where she won her last two starts against open company and at this race’s level. Here she exercises the $45,000 claiming option. (1) Cinderella’s Cause ran second in her last four starts which followed two claiming victories. (4) Echo in Eternity won the first-level allowance three weeks ago. (5) Saratoga Kisses has been running against these horses in her last two races following an allowance win.

4th race [Md Sp Wt, 1 mi] – (5) Helcia Makes her first start of the year with a second in November and gets Lasix for the first time. (3) Cost Containment was third in her debut in June at 5-1 for Chad Brown. (1) Lord I Wonder was second in her first start which was at Saratoga during opening week for Al Stall Jr. who has a hot barn. (7) Islander was third in her first race at Churchill Downs in June with 2-1 odds.

5th race [NY, Suzie O’Cain, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (7) Munny Grab (B) tossed her head, broke last, and then closed on the outside to finish third. (1) Brocknardini will return to NY-bred racing after three stakes including a win in the Selima. This will be her second start of the year. (6) Awesome Czech was second in the Tepin last year and a state-bred allowance winner three weeks ago. (2) Summer Whirl will step up to stakes company following a maiden win for Graham Motion.

6th race [NY, Md Sp Wt, 5 ½ F TURF] – (1) Cara’s Dreamweaver (A) ran second in her debut against a strong field with a late rally and gets a rider upgrade. (10) Disco Star will debut for the hot barn of Mark Casse whose young horses have been running well. She sold for a high price compared to her sire’s fee. (4) Gattatiz will make her first career start as a home-bred for the Bond barn. (7) Young At Heart is also a firster and she is from a trainer that has good stats with debut runners.

Best bets: Midtown Lights (2nd); Helcia (4th). Best value: Munny Grab (5th); Cara’s Dreamweaver (6th).
