5th race [Clm 35000 N3L, 6F] – (5) Stingy (A) a slow start and then a wide trip may have cost him a win back in July. (1) Upside Potential has a fitting name as a horse that is undefeated in two starts which were in the spring at Aqueduct with front-end victories for Linda Rice. (4) Fortune’s Nephew won the first-level allowance for NY-breds in April then moved up a level. He now makes his first start in a claiming race. (3) Anthracite has five top three finishes in the N3L claiming condition.

6th race [Md Sp Wt, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (6) Teca was second and then third in both of her starts which happened earlier in the summer. Blinkers come off. (2) Annie Goodbody made one start sprinting on the turf at Saratoga and has some good workouts since then. Second start stats say 20% winners for this trainer. (5) Mezcalifornia finished third in her second start for Kenny McPeek and didn’t like the kickback in that race. (7) Bossy Dish has room for improvement after getting bet in second start for a barn that is going much better now.

7th race [OC 50k/N1X, 1 1/8 mi] – (7) Headline Numbers (A) was a runaway winner of her debut at Aqueduct in July by more than 11 lengths for Chad Brown as the favorite. (1) Camera (B) pressed a fast pace, got to the lead, but got passed by the closers. (2) Central Avenue was a top three finisher in a pair of graded stakes last year as a 2-year-old. (3) Fade to Grey won her second start for Todd Pletcher after a turf start in her debut.  She made a big improvement to win her maiden by a clear margin.

8th race [OC 80k/C, 6F] – (1) Disco Ball won his last three starts and was a top three finisher in her last seven starts most of which were in allowance or starter allowance races. (3) Gulfport won her first two starts by open lengths had three top three finishes in graded stakes like the Hopeful and the Champagne. She was gone from racing for more than a year and came back to win a second level allowance at Churchill easily. (5) Kavod was claimed for $50,000 last time after a stalking victory at Churchill.
