2nd race [Md Sp Wt, 1 1/8 mi] – (3) Dreamlike is still a maiden despite finishing third in the Wood Memorial (G2) where he had the lead in the stretch. He has been off since then and gets Lasix back in this allowance. (2) Mount Craig had the lead and finished second in a maiden race at Churchill Downs in May and has been off since then. He has five top three finishes in his seven career starts. (6) Ride Up had a career high speed figure last time when he finished third for Linda Rice, the Belmont leading trainer. (4) Ocasek has a second and a third in his only two starts for Chad Brown.

6th race [Alw 149,500, 1 1/8 mi TURF] – (7) Shutters (A) came back from a short layoff for Chad Brown, got blocked lacking room, hopped, and finished third a month ago. (1) Danzigwiththestars has two starts this year and made a big improvement in speed figures. All three of his wins were on the turf at Saratoga. (2) Blue Devil had two narrow losses since moving back to the turf in Kentucky. (5) Al’s Rocket has speed figures in his recent starts that make him a win contender for Todd Pletcher.

8th race [Clm 50000, 6F] – (2) Dot’s Dollar won a second-level allowance just a week ago for Linda Rice and has six career wins including one last year at Saratoga in a $50,000 claimer. (3) Cees Get Degrees won an allowance two races back at Pimlico with a front-end effort and is projected to be on the lead in here with Irad on board. (8) Jake Rocks won for $40,000 in April which was his most recent start and was claimed. He won 5 out of his last 6 races in claimers, starter allowances, and allowances. (9) Nifty was claimed for $50,000 in May at Churchill and comes back for the new trainer after winning 3 times in his last 4 starts.

10th race [Clm 35000B, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (3) Hilliard (B) got steadied early in a similar spot and rallied from seventh to get second just a neck from the win. (2) Penner Ash was a winner two races back in $50,000 N2L and then got blinkers on which did not work out well. Blinkers come off and Javier Castellano gets on. (11) Encourage will make a significant drop in class in for a tag for the first time with wins in a maiden special weight and an allowance last year. (4) Arrio used early speed in his first two and only starts of the year and set the pace each time.

Best bets: Dreamlike (2nd); Dot’s Dollar (8th). Best value: Shutters (6th); Hilliard (10th).
