COMMENTS: MEASURED TIME and SILVER KNOTT look like the two best horses in the race. MEASURED TIME moves so effortlessly when asked while SILVER KNOTT can win from any position on the track. SOLDIER RISING has performed well at Saratoga, finishing in the money in five of six and also likes the distance, hitting the board in seven of eight. GRAND SONATAs last race was better than the second by a nose finish look with faster fractions in a longer race.

COMMENTS: VAHVA is a little bit of racing luck from winning eight in a row. She tends to fire following some rest like today. SOCIETY has the most back class at the distance where she has three wins with a pair of thirds in a half dozen outings. MUNNYS GOLD likes to win going wire to wire and has every chance to get to the front here. ACCEDE is as versatile as any in this group and can win on the front, stalking or closing.

COMMENTS: CAGLIOSTRO is a left arrow horse in that he can close to win but should be close to the pace here. MULLIKIN has a pair of wins with two seconds in four at the distance and has finished first or second in seven of eight races, fourth in the other. GUN PILOT has his career best performance at 7 furlongs two races back. A repeat effort might be good enough for the third win in four at the distance. BABY YODAs resume says he should improve in the second start off the sidelines.

COMMENTS: BOOK EM DANNO has a Grade I win at Saratoga and is undefeated in two at the distance. SPEAK EASY won from off the pace and pressing the lead in his two starts. He pulled away late in both. JEFFERSON STREET finished in the money in all six starts and wins bigly when he wins. WORLD RECORD won both of his races when he was on the rail and had the early lead. He has the rail and very well might be the pacesetter versus these.

COMMENTS: FIERCENESS has been all over the place in his races but only one place in two at Saratoga, the winners circle. SIERRA LEONE could be undefeated in seven races if he started his rally just a little bit earlier. THORPEDO ANNA will try to become the first filly to win the Travers since 1903. That is a long time. DORNOCH is the morning line favorite and oddsmaker David Aragona is one of the best at his craft. Dornoch won his last and has been working like a beast since.
