George Krikorian’s War Like Goddess, winner of the Bewitch (G3) the past three years, headlines a roster of 23 fillies and mares nominated to the 62^nd running of the $300,000 race that will be contested over 1½ miles on the turf and be run Friday, April 26, closing day of the 16-day Spring Meet.

War Like Goddess is one of three horses to win the same Keeneland stakes three consecutive years. The others are Royal Harmony (the Fayette in 1969, 1970 and 1971) and Knight Counter (the Ben Ali in 1972, 1973 and 1974).

A three-time Grade 1 winner for trainer Bill Mott, War Like Goddess has 11 wins in 18 starts and earnings of $2,535,184 in four campaigns. She closed 2023 with a seventh-place finish against males in the Breeders’ Cup Turf (G1) at Santa Anita in November.
