2nd race [Clm 40000, 6F] – (3) Happy Farm won his last two starts and was claimed for $40,000 by Danny Gargan. His current past performances show top three finishes in his last five starts. The 8-year-old has 12 wins in his career. (2) Greeley and Ben was entered several times since he changed to the barn of David Jacobson. This is the lowest level in which he has run and he is projected to be on the lead. (6) Montauk Daddy has three wins from his last five starts. Manny Franco rode two of them and gets back on board. (4) Hero Tiger has not run worse than fourth in his last 12 starts where he did not run for a tag and now he is in for $40,000.

6th race [Md Sp Wt, 7F] – (1A) Renegade Rebel (C) took late money in her debut for Mark Casse and finished third. (6) Misintention (B) raced inside on a bad rail day in his first start for Bill Mott. (3) St. Benedict’s Prep, which is in NJ, was second in his first start for Chad Brown behind the highly acclaimed Prank. (4) Pure Pauline is a home-bred from Stonestreet by Curlin and out of Keen Pauline who was a graded stakes winner.

7th race [Md Sp Wt, 1 1/16 mi TURF] – (4) Free Look (B) broke slowly in her first start for Chad Brown and had to rally from last to finish third behind a filly that is now a stakes winner. (2) Freydis the Red finished just behind the top choice in her debut. (7) Prouver is a well-bred daughter of the first-year sire Justify who is producing winners on dirt and turf. Trainer DeVaux is good with the 2-year-olds. (3) La Mazel was fourth in her debut behind two horses that came back to win their next starts.

11th race [Spinaway (G1), 7F] – (1) Kaling (A) was a debut winner for Todd Pletcher and Eclipse Thoroughbreds at odds of 3-1 and is projected to be on the lead racing from the rail. (10) American Rockette (A) was a rare first-time out winner for Bill Mott after breaking slowly and rallying from last to win by more than two lengths. (9) Wonder Wheel won her first two races by a combined almost 10 lengths including the Debutante at Churchill Downs by just under seven lengths. The stakes score was on the front-end but her maiden win was an off the pace effort. (5) Just Cindy is also unbeaten in two starts but her races were at Saratoga and her second win was in the Schuylerville (G3).

Best bets:  Happy Farm (2nd); Free Look (7th). Best value: Renegade Rebel (6th); Kaling (11th).
