1. Rushing Fall (2019)

e Five Racing Thoroughbreds’ Rushing Fall set the pace and posted a length victory to notch her fourth Keeneland stakes triumph in three years. With four stakes wins, she equals Take Charge Lady for the most by a filly in Keeneland history and is second to Wise Dan’s record seven stakes victories.

 

2. Intercontinental (GB) (2004-2005)

Juddmonte Farms’ champion Intercontinental (GB) became the only two-time winner of the race in 2005 by duplicating her 1-length victory of the year before. The latter win gave trainer Bobby Frankel a fourth consecutive victory in the race.

 

3. Sistercharlie (IRE) (2018)

Peter Brant’s Sistercharlie (IRE) came off a nine-month layoff to post a 2¼-length victory to kick off a championship campaign. Her victory topped a 1-2-3 finish for trainer Chad Brown.

 

4. Forever Together (2009)

Augustin Stable’s Forever Together, the champion grass mare of 2008, opened her 2009 campaign with a 1-length victory. Six months earlier, she won the First Lady at Keeneland.

 

5. Tepin (2016)

Robert Masterson’s Tepin followed her 2015 championship season (which included a win in the Breeders’ Cup Mile at Keeneland) by romping to a stakes-record 5-length victory in a stakes-record time of 1:40.53. The victory was her third Grade 1 triumph at Keeneland.
