July 10, 2020

Four-time Eclipse Award-winning trainer Chad Brown has 99 Grade 1 wins in his career and could secure No. 100 today or tomorrow at Keeneland, where he has the morning-line favorites in three Grade 1 stakes.

In today’s Maker’s Mark Mile, Brown has two entrants: 9-5 morning-line favorite Raging Bull (FR) and 5-2 second choice Without Parole (GB).

On Saturday, he will send out even-money favorite Guarana in the Madison (G1). In the Coolmore Jenny Wiley (G1), he conditions 6-5 favorite Rushing Fall and 12-1 choice Altea (FR).

Brown’s first Grade 1 victory was the 2011 Diana at Saratoga with Zagora (FR). He has 12 Grade 1 wins at Keeneland, where Rushing Fall has accounted for two of them: 2018 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Presented by Lane’s End and 2019 Coolmore Jenny Wiley.

Through Thursday, Brown has 1,787 career wins with earnings exceeding $184 million.
