Keeneland will reoffer six 2-year-olds previously purchased as yearlings at last year’s September Sale which are actively in training in Ocala. Please browse below for details on this unique opportunity.
Key Sale Instructions
Keeneland encourages you to review the following instructions to become familiarized with the process to make an offer:
- View or Inspect the Horses: Browse the information below, schedule a time to inspect the horses in-person or request that your veterinarian view radiographs and endoscopic videos provided for each hip in Keeneland's Online Repository.
- Review the Bill of Sale: Due to the unique nature of this sale, please closely review the Bill of Sale by clicking here.
- Prepare to Make Your Offer Between Feb. 27 and March 1 in the Keeneland Sales Portal: Ensure you have access to your online account with Keeneland. Please direct any questions to Brent Hacker [email protected].
- Log in to the Keeneland Sales Portal: Beginning Feb. 27 you will have the opportunity to agree to the Bill of Sale and submit a one-time offer on any individual hips in which you are interested.
- You will be notified on March 2 whether or not your offer has been accepted by Keeneland: If you receive notification of an accepted offer, you will be instructed to execute the Bill of Sale and payment to Keeneland is required by Wednesday, March 8. Keeneland reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, in its sole discretion.

How to Make an Offer
Offers may be submitted for each individual hip between Monday, Feb. 27 at 9 a.m. EST and Wednesday, March 1 at noon EST. During this offer period, please follow the instructions below:
- Log in to your account in the Keeneland Sales Portal.
- Click the 2-Year-Old Reoffer link to begin the offer process.
- Input your one-time offer as instructed in the Keeneland Sales Portal interface.
- Acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree with the terms of the Bill of Sale.
- Press confirm offer to submit your offer.
If your offer is accepted, you will be contacted directly and asked to complete an executed Bill of Sale available for preview below. Keeneland reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers, in its sole discretion.

Each hip was vetted on Feb. 2 and Keeneland’s online Repository is available for viewing by Keeneland registered licensed veterinarians throughout the reoffer period. Each horse will be vetted again within 10 days of the March 1 offer deadline and those details will be made available in the Repository online.
Inspections
Each 2-year-old is currently located in Ocala and actively in training. Horses are available for inspection by appointment with Niall Brennan or David Scanlon.

Offerors shall inspect fully each horse that they may seek to purchase. Offerors are accepting any horse purchased with all defects. Offerors that fail or refuse to inspect for any reason, including a lack of opportunity for inspection, purchase the horse at their own risk. Offerors acknowledge presale exams may be conducted by physically viewing the horse, by video, by photos, and through an agent. Offerors further acknowledge that if the presale exam is insufficient as determined in the sole discretion of the offeror, said prospective purchaser shall not make an offer on the horse.
The sale of each horse is on an AS IS, WHERE IS BASIS. Keeneland makes NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND, SPECIFICALLY, BUT NOT ALL INCLUSIVELY, SELLER MAKES NO WARRANTIES THAT THE HORSE IS SUITABLE FOR RACING, BREEDING OR OTHER PURPOSES, EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY SET FORTH IN THE BILL OF SALE.
