Keeneland Library Lecture Series presents: An Evening with Katherine Mooney

Keeneland’s popular Library Lecture Series continues this summer with four public events that celebrate recently published works about Thoroughbred racing whose authors conducted research at Keeneland Library. The first two installments of the Library Lecture Series will feature books related to the Library’s current exhibit, The Heart of the Turf: Racing’s Black Pioneers. 

Katherine Mooney will discuss her book, Isaac Murphy: The Rise and Fall of a Black Jockey. Following the presentation, enjoy a reception and book signing with Katherine Mooney. A limited number of copies will be available for purchase at the lecture. The event begins at 6:30 p.m.
